When I acquired the property I named it Myst Haven because of the lovely fine mist that sometimes rolls in from the Seawall Beach portion of Acadia National State Park when the rest of the island is hot. The house sets on a private road filled with Balsam and Pine trees. There are two Cedar trees in the back which surround the area where the hammock is. There is a gas barbecue grill for cooking out as well as a picnic table.

I added satellite internet for the 2008 season. Dialup is gone!

2008 Rates - $350 Deposit. Available Memorial Day Week - May, June, July, August, September & Part of October. $100 Pet Fee - each extra $75. Please be advised that there is a 7% Rental Tax that will be added to your rent for the week and payable at the time the final pmt. is made.

Just a 5 minute walk to the Seawall Beach portion of Acadia National Park (rocky beach).
A little further is Wonderland and Ships Harbor for walks to the ocean. Enjoy the distant sound of the ocean from the house and smell the salty ocean air. Listen to the Western Way bell ring gently as it sways to and fro. Watch the yachts and lobster boats coming and going from Southwest Harbor.
