Health Guarantee
All puppies sold will be honestly represented and evaluated as
accurately as possible. Buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a
reputable veterinarian within 14 days from the time of the purchase and to have
the Veterinary Examination Report completed by the attending veterinarian at
Buyer's expense. This report must be returned to seller immediately
following the examination. Failure to return written report within 24
hours of exam invalidates this contract.
If this Veterination establishes
a MAJOR problem such as incurable illness that will effect the puppy's lifespan,
(internal, external, parasites & kennel cough excluded) with the puppy upon
initial examination, puppy must be returned immediately within 72 hours of
purchase date. Seller reserves the right to have puppy examined by a
veterinarian of seller's choice, before exchange is made. Breeder has 1
year to provide replacement puppy. Breeder not responsible for any
veterinary fees charged for the initial examination or for any other veterinary
services rendered on that first visit.
The puppy is guaranteed for
any/all life-threatening hereditary conditions for a period of 1 year.
This does not include conditions such as hernias, patellar luxation and
tracheal collapse due to uncontrollable environmental factors .
If
sudden death should occur an autopsy must be performed and report verified by my
veterinarian to determine the cause of death. If death occurred from a
congenital problem, a replacement puppy of the same sex and equal value
will be given. Breeder has 1 year to replace puppy.
Your puppy will
have had its first distemper, parvo virus vaccination at 6 weeks. The
vaccine series needs to be repeated again at 9 weeks, 12 weeks and 16 weeks
. It is your responsibility to make sure the puppy is vaccinated at those
ages. If your puppy is exposed to parvo and/or distemper before the full
vaccine series is completed, he/she can be susceptible to these viruses. I
will not be responsible for a puppy's health if he/she is given a vacine w/Lepto
or re-vaccinated before 9 weeks of age.
If at any time, you are not
able to keep your puppy, whether the puppy is 10 weeks old or 10 years, I need
to be contacted first. I can assist you with finding him/her a new
home. No refunds. Do not sell or give away the dog without the
written permission of the seller.
If the seller decides that the buyer is
not suited for a Yorkshire Terrier puppy for any reason, the seller has the
right to cancel the sale before the delivery of the puppy. The buyers
deposit will be refunded upon cancellation.
Buyer also agrees and
understands that size and color is only an estimated idea depending on previous
repeat litter or size of parents. There is no guarantee as to how big or
small or what color they will be as an adult.
This contract is
non-transferable and void if a puppy changes ownership from buyer stated
above. Failure of the Buyer to comply with any condition of the Agreement
will relieve the Seller of any obligation to the Buyer.
If a legal issue
were to occur it will be dealt with within the State of Maine in Hancock County
and is subject to all Maine laws. Out of state laws are not valid per this
guarantee. All attorney fees will be billed to buyer.
I have read
this contract, understand fully, and will abide completely in order to keep this
guarantee in full
effect.
